1,000 Hours

1,000 Hours (1.000 horas en español) es el primer material lanzado al mercado de Green Day. Fue lanzado en abril de 1989 bajo el sello de la discográfica Lookout! Records.El EP contenía 4 pistas escritas por Billie Joe Armstrong.

Las canciones de este EP se pueden encontrar en el álbum recopilatorio de la banda 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.El disco fue grabado con el nombre de la banda como Sweet Children, , pero una noche antes de que el disco saliera decidieron cambiarlo. En la grabación original hecha en Lookout! aparecían 3 canciones más de las sesiones del disco, uno era un cover de la banda de ska punk Operation Ivy y otras dos canciones raras que también aparecen en Green Day At The Berkeley Square, KALX Radio.

VH1's Behind The Music: Remastered to feature Green Day

VH1 Classic Detrás de la Música: Remastered va a empezar a transmitirse los nuevos episodios a partir de este mes y Green Day tendrá un segmento al aire en diciembre.

Detrás de la Música: Remastered es un spin-off de la serie Behind the Music de VH1 en el que reúne un documental sobre un artista, banda o grupo.Green Day fueron por última vez el detrás de la música en 2001 con el fin Detrás de la Música: Remastered está haciendo un nuevo documental que está al día y actualizada."Remasterizacion", el documentar de 2001, si se quiere.

Como se mencionó anteriormente, el nuevo episodio saldrá al aire en diciembre el día 11 a las 9:00 pm en el canal VH1 Classic.

Green Day inicia su gira por América del Sur!

Hoy en día, Green Day inicia su gira sudamericana en Caracas, Venezuela en el Campo de Fútbol Universidad Simón Bolívar. Esta será la primera vez que Green Day ha sido en el sur de Estados Unidos en más de 10 años, por lo que este será sin duda un placer para todos los fans de América del Sur de Green Day.

Billie Joe publico este tweet ayer por la noche:

"We're in Venezuela!!! The tour is about to begin!! We're heeeeeeeeeeeere!!!!"

-"Estamos en Venezuela! La gira está a punto de comenzar!! Estamos aaaquiiiiiiii !!!!"

Nueva Canción en la ultima presentacion de Billie Joe

Para cerrar su semana de actuación como St. Jimmy, Billie Joe justo antes de Good Riddance, cantó un poco de otra nueva canción. Anteriormente, abrió esta última canción con unos escasos dos acordes de 2,000 Light Years Away y adelantó esta canción con un tweet antes de la actuación:

"St Jimmy is sad.. This is my last day.. Tonight I'm gonna fuck shit up!! This is not goodbye.. This is so long.. St jimmy rules!"--"St. Jimmy es triste .. Este es mi último día .. Esta noche me voy a joder mierda! Esto no es un adiós .. Esto es tan largo .. reglas St Jimmy!"
